Ah… December—the most wonderful time of the year (or so the song says). For some of us, business slows down a bit in December.
Mark Twain once said “If it’s your job to eat a frog, it’s best to do it first thing in the morning. And if it’s your job to eat two frogs, it’s best to eat the biggest one first.”
Poor managers. And I’m not rolling my eyes as I type this—I truly believe managers have a tough job in leading people. One of the toughest things they have to do is leading their team members through conflict.
It’s hard to be a leader. In times of pressure (which seems to be all the time, lately) it’s even harder. Yet, these are the times that employees need leaders to step up the most.
